As an SBD, you will have responsibility for promoting the growth of the Society Financial brand, taking it into new markets and territories. Through independent research and campaigns you will target small, and mid to large companies that are exposed to cross border trading. You will report to the Country Manager. As a senior member of staff you will also be responsible for supervising and helping develop junior members of staff.  Your main responsibilities will include: 

Market Research/Data Science

You will research the regional European market by industry sectors in order to build and enrich our customer database. 



Where necessary you may conduct independent research on target companies to understand their business fully, paying particular attention to which countries they import/export products and services to and from. You will then be able to ascertain the clients needs and determine possible solutions Society Financial can offer.  

Support the client relationship  

Support Society Financial's strong client relationship/servicing culture through on-going customer contact including regular meetings. You will collaborate with the London sales teams to promote cash management, FX hedging and payment products. Be prepared for international travel in order to conduct client meetings and attend training in London and our other overseas offices.

  • University educated at degree level


  • Fluent in speaking and writing English (essential)

  • Strong IT skills (experience of using Salesforce is desirable)

  • Sales experience with an existing professional network is advantageous 

  • Experience working in a commercial/financial environment

  • Experience in European markets and knowledge of various business sectors with a good understanding of how organisations manage their financial departments. 

  • Experience of dealing with CFOs, Finance Directors, Financial Controllers and Treasurers is desirable.
